Education & Training

Dr. Sobol is a partner in the Michigan Institute of Urology. In addition to her role as a urologist with MIU, Dr. Sobol is also the Medical Director of the REDEEM Sexual Wellness and Aesthetics Center. She has practiced in metropolitan Detroit since 2006.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1994, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. She followed with an internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills in 2000, then completed her general surgery training in 2002 and her urologic surgery training in 2005 at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She also completed a fellowship in female and male incontinence, neurourology and voiding dysfunction at the University of Michigan in 2006.

She has made numerous presentations covering these topics at professional urology meetings across the country.

Dr. Sobol and her husband, Louis Sobol, M.D. and their twin sons reside in West Bloomfield. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading.


Certifications & Memberships

Dr. Sobol has been recognized as a Top Doc in Metro Detroit for 10 consecutive years.

She also is recognized as a Center of Excellence for Neuro Modulation from Medtronics, and as a Center of Excellence for Bulkamid by Axonics.

Dr. Sobol is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
