Education & Training

Dr. Schock has practiced urology in Michigan for over 23 years. He is Chairman of Urology at Corewell Health (Beaumont)– Farmington Hills. He also is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Surgery at Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine as well as a Clinical Instructor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Dr. Schock received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 1990. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1994 from Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Schock has provided care for thousands of patients in the Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County areas. He feels it is important to give back to the community and gives free patient seminars on topics such as bladder leakage, prostate diseases, and male sexual health issues.


Certifications & Memberships

Dr. Schock is board certified in Urological Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS).

He is a multi-year recipient of Detroit’s Hour Magazine Top Doctors in Urology from 2015 – 2022 and received top-voted urologist in several of the editions.
