DESTROYING PROSTATE CANCER WITH PLUVICTO®
If you’ve been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, your treatment options are varied at Michigan Institute of Urology. Those options now include the targeted therapy, PLUVICTO®.
PLUVICTO is a “radioligand therapy,” which means it uses radioactive substances to target and destroy PSMA cancer cells. PSMA is found in many prostate cancer cells and some healthy cells. When injected or infused into your body, PLUVICTO looks for PSMA on the surface of cells. If found, it goes into the cell and releases radiation, which damages or destroys the cell from within. It may also affect some nearby healthy cells.
PLUVICTO may be a treatment option if you have PSMA+ mCRPC (prostate-specific membrane antigen–positive and metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer). It’s for men with advanced prostate cancer who have already been treated with hormone therapy or with hormone therapy and chemotherapy.

BREAKTHROUGH SOLUTION FOR BLADDER CONTROL PROBLEMS
When your pelvic floor muscles are weak, they may not fully support your bladder and other organs, making it harder to control urination. Stronger pelvic floor muscles can put you back in control. The EMSELLA® Chair is a breakthrough treatment that can strengthen these muscles, preventing urine leakage in men and women.
As you sit on the EMSELLA Chair, fully clothed, electromagnetic technology stimulates your pelvic muscles. It’s like performing 11,200 Kegels in just 30 minutes. The result is restored muscle control, relief from incontinence, and enhanced sexual function.
Schedule a consultation to find out if the EMSELLA Chair is right for you.
