
Joshua Palka, D.O.
Joshua Palka, D.O. is a partner in Michigan Institute of Urology, P.C. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery including robotic and laparoscopic surgery, kidney, prostate, and bladder cancer, complex kidney stones, and benign prostate enlargement.
Dr. Palka received his B.S. from the University of Michigan. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and residency in Urology at the Detroit Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis further specializing in Robotics and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Palka has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has presented at both regional and national meetings. His research interests include: Urologic Oncology, improving surgical outcomes, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and BPH.
Dr. Palka is on staff at Huron Valley Hospital, Beaumont Hospital – Farmington Hills and Royal Oak, and St Joseph Trinity Hospitals in Howell, Oakland, and Livonia. He is a member of the American Urological Association and Endourological Association.
He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to good music, and traveling.
