Expert Care for Restoring Male Fertility

Male fertility plays a vital role in conception. It is also an essential indicator of overall health, which is why partnering with a specialist to address fertility issues is so important.

Vasectomy Reversal: Rekindling Your Potential

For men who have had a vasectomy, there is real hope that fertility can be restored.

The goal of a vasectomy reversal surgery is simple: to reconnect the cut ends of the vas deferens—the tubes through which sperm travel. This allows sperm to leave the testicles once again and mix with semen. Because this procedure is complex, the skill of a dedicated specialist like Dr. Bazzi is essential to maximize your chance of success. Dr. Bazzi is a male fertility specialist with the microsurgical expertise required for this delicate procedure.

Common Questions

Success rates for a vasectomy reversal are greatest within three to 10 years after a vasectomy.
It is usually not covered by insurance.
After surgery, pain may be mild to moderate. You may experience swollen, achy testicles for a week or so after the procedure. Use ice packs to limit swelling, rest as much as possible, and avoid heavy lifting and exercise. You should be able to resume normal activities, including sex, within three weeks.
We recommend that men under the age of 35 seek evaluation after 1 year of trying to conceive, and men over age 35 after 6 months.
