Scott I. Sircus, M.D. is a partner in the Michigan Institute of Urology. He has been practicing in metropolitan Detroit since 1989.
Dr. Sircus received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, 1979, graduating magna cum laude. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami, 1983, where he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Scholastic Honor Society. Dr. Sircus completed his General Surgery Residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and his Urology Residency at Tufts New England Medical Center Hospitals in Boston in 1989.
Dr. Sircus is the elected chief of urology at Henry Ford Warren Hospital, the chairman of the Physician Quality Improvement Committee, and a past president of the medical staff. Dr. Sircus also serves as director of urologic residency training and medical student teaching at Henry Ford Warren. Dr. Sircus is an active member of the medical staff at the following hospitals: Henry Ford Warren, Henry Ford Macomb, Henry Ford Madison Heights, Corewell Royal Oak, and McLaren Macomb.
Dr. Sircus and his wife Linda reside in Franklin. In his free time, Dr. Sircus enjoys gardening, bicycling, and golf.
Dr. Sircus is board certified in the specialty of Urology. Dr. Sircus is experienced in all areas of Adult Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society and Oakland County Medical Society.
Dr. Sircus has authored numerous journal articles on the topics of urinary incontinence and bladder cancer.
