| MIU Seminars - BPH Treatment Options |

The Michigan Institute of Urology is conducting a series of seminars in several of its office locations to discuss three of the latest treatments for BPH, or benign (non-cancerous) prostate enlargement. Two of the treatments use microwave and the third uses laser. Often times these procedures can be performed in the office for your convenience, usually in less than one hour. Only a mild sedation is utilized during the procedures and most patients are able to resume their normal activities in a few days.
If the medications you take to treat symptoms for prostate enlargement are too expensive or produce unpleasant side effects, or if you have decided against surgery in the past because it requires hospitalization and a prolonged recovery period, your MIU physician may recommend one of these minimally-invasive treatment alternatives.

All seminars begin at 6:00 p.m. and last one hour. Those wishing to attend a seminar should call the office where they will attend to reserve seating.
