| 2011 MIU - Run for the Ribbon |

We are thrilled and excited that the MIU - Run for the Ribbon Father's Day weekend of events was such a success this year. We owe it all to those individuals who shared in our excitement and passion to make a difference in our Prostate Cancer caring community.
The gala event at Andiamo was spectacular with over 350 patrons in attendance, enjoying great food, live music performed by Simone Vitale and his band, and an exciting raffle. All of the proceeds will go to the MIU-Run for the Ribbon non-profit charity and continue supporting Prostate Cancer education and research in our local community.
The 5K run/walk at The Detroit Zoo had over 2,000 participants sharing special moments with Prostate Cancer survivors, including a group photograph in front of the DaVinci robot. Along the entire route there was special signage honoring the courage and appreciation for our Prostate Cancer survivors and their families, allowing all of us to feel included in that very special heartfelt moment.
We thank all of our supporters, the families of the Prostate Cancer survivors and those who are no longer with us, our sponsors, and Fox 2, for their sharing and caring, and making this Father's Day special for all of us in the MIU family.
It is our goal to change the lives of men in the metro-Detroit community through this community event, and we look forward to expanding the free screenings next year!
