Michigan Institute of Urology Men’s Health Event OverviewMichigan Institute of Urology presents the first annual Men's Health Event on Saturday, November 12 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Troy Marriott. This free event will give men a better understanding of how to stay healthy, free health screenings to assess their current health and information about advances in medicine and treatment. Free health screenings include testing Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA), Testosterone, Glucose and Cholesterol levels, in addition to taking vitals measurements, BMI analysis, Bone Density screening and nutritional assessments. Men are not required to have health insurance to participate in any of the health screenings. Information sessions will address a variety of male health topics, also allowing time for questions from the audience, including Heart Health, Cancer Prevention, Fitness and Exercise, Nutritional Supplements, Acupuncture/ Complementary Medicine, Male Fertility Issues and much more! During the event, don’t miss out on raffle prizes, refreshments and more! Event sponsors and partners include Karmanos Cancer Institute, Oakland University William Beaumont, Quest Diagnostics, The Sinai Guild and FOX 2. On-site parking is free. A shuttle will be provided to Somerset Mall for women while men attend the event. |
