Robin J. Rye, D.N.P. is an associate of the Michigan Institute of Urology, P.C. She has worked as a Urologic Nurse Practitioner in the Metropolitan Detroit area since 1997. She is a Certified Urologic Nurse Practitioner as well as a Certified Women's Health Nurse Practioner. Dr. Rye specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric urology with an emphasis on Male Infertility, Female Sexual Dysfunction and Pediatric Voiding Dysfunction.
Dr. Rye received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1991 as well as a PPRM Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program affiliated with the University of Colorado Health and Science Center in 1997. She received a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, Michigan Campus in 1999. Dr. Rye received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oakland University in 2007.
Dr. Rye has Co-chaired US TOO Prostate Cancer Support Groups as well as lectured throughout Southeastern Michigan regarding prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, male infertility, pelvic physiotherapy, interstitial cystitis, urodynamic studies and pediatric voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Rye previously served as Vice President Local Chapter of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA). She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Nurses Association. She serves on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy and Michigan State University.
