Richard C. Sarle, M.D., M.S. is a partner in the Michigan Institute of Urology, P.C. Dr. Sarle is board certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Sarle has been practicing in the Metropolitan Detroit area since 2006 and is experienced in all areas of adult urology. Dr. Sarle has advanced training in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr. Sarle has published numerous journal articles and conducted many presentations throughout the country regarding robotic urology.
Dr. Sarle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Biology and a M.S. degree in Environmental Public Health from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, Vermont in 1999. Dr. Sarle completed his General Surgical Residency at the Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, MI in 2001. Dr. Sarle also completed a Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urologic Oncology (Cancer) in 2005, and his Urology Residency in 2006 at Henry Ford Health System.
He is affiliated with Oakwood Hospital Dearborn, Oakwood Heritage Hospital, Taylor, Henry Ford Hospital, Wyandotte, William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, and Providence Hospital, Southfield. Dr. Sarle currently sees patients at the Dearborn office.
Dr. Sarle is a member of the American Urologic Association North Central Section, the American Medical Association, and Michigan State Medical Society.
Dr. Sarle and his wife, Maureen, reside in Royal Oak, Michigan. He enjoys long distance running and has completed several marathons.
