Richard C. Bennett, M.D. is an associate of the Michigan Institute of Urology, P.C. Dr. Bennett is experienced in all areas of adult urology with special interest in microsurgical treatment of male infertility, erectile dysfunction, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, andrology (diseases of the male, especially of the reproductive system), urinary incontinence, and endoscopic treatment of stone disease.
Dr. Bennett has made numerous professional presentations to the medical community covering recent developments in male reproductive medicine.
Dr. Bennett received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Wayne State School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. He completed his urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Bennett completed his fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bennett is an active candidate for board certification by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Michigan State Medical Society.
Dr. Bennett's hospital affiliations are William Beaumont Hospital (Royal Oak and Troy campuses), St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.
Dr. Bennett and his wife, Dana, reside in Novi, Michigan.
