Jean-Claude Elie, M.D.

Jean-Claude Elie, M.D. is an associate of the Michigan Institute of Urology. He has practiced Urology in the Metropolitan Detroit area for thirty-five years. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1969. Dr. Elie specializes in all aspects of adult Urology.

Dr. Elie received a Bachelors Degree from the Seminary College St. Martial, Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1952. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Paris Sorbonne, Paris, France in 1960. General Surgical Residency was completed at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1962 and Urologic Residency at Harper Hospital, Detroit in 1965.

Dr. Elie's hospital affiliations include; St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Henry Ford Cottage Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, St. John Macomb Hospital, and Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital.

Dr. Elie is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association, Michigan Urology Association, Wayne County Medical Association, Macomb County Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Detroit Surgical Association, Michigan Section of the American College of Surgeons and the American Urology Association.
