Scott I. Sircus, M.D.
Scott I. Sircus, M.D. is a partner in the Michigan Institute of Urology, P.C. Dr. Sircus has been practicing in the Metropolitan Detroit area since 1989. Dr. Sircus is board certified in the specialty of Urology. Dr. Sircus is experienced in all areas of Adult Urology. His special interests include Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgical Techniques, Urologic Cancer, Prostate Disease, and Incontinence. Dr. Sircus has extensive expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat and cure men with urine leakage following prostate cancer treatment. He has authored numerous journal articles on the topics of urinary incontinence and bladder cancer.
Dr. Sircus received a Batchelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, 1979, graduating magna cum laude. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami, 1983, where he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Scholastic Honor Society. Dr. Sircus completed his General Surgery Residency at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and his Urology Residency at Tufts New England Medical Center Hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989.
Dr. Sircus is on staff at St. John Macomb Hospital, Providence Hospital, Southfield and Novi campuses and William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr. Sircus has served as Chief of the Division of Urology at St. John Macomb Hospital since 2004.
Dr. Sircus is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Member of the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Oakland County Medical Society, and the Detroit Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Sircus, his wife, Linda, and their two children reside in Franklin, Michigan.
